Jauregui Architects Interiors & Construction are guilty for the rustic yet modern feel of this exquisite jewel. The house looks big but sophisticated with an exterior clad in stone which enhances the whole country style feeling. However upon entering you soon realize that the rural and the austere you expected have been replaced by clean lines and an overall modern design adorned with luxurious accents that help create a timeless decor that would impress even the most posh.

Plush décor and ergonomic shelves that disappear into the walls bring understated class. A beautiful staircase with seemingly ‘floating’ wooden steps leads to the upper level with five-bedrooms and stunning bathrooms.

The structure of the home mimics the letter ‘H’ in its form with the living dining and lounge spaces forming the central hub while the personal quarters and the bedrooms are confined to the flanks on both sides. The interiors are both spacious and well ventilated with extravagant use of glass being an apparent feature all around. The passages to the wings are compressed between gently moving water courses inspired by the canals of Suzhou and Venice.

The bedroom features a bed that’s suspended from the ceiling and built-in shelving is the perfect destination for interesting finds that add character and style.
