Today at Decoist we go modular. In fact these modular homes are so spectacular we can’t decide what we like best about them! Is it the innovative design? Perhaps it’s the way they lend themselves to green living. Or maybe it’s their ability to maximize space in the most interesting of ways. It’s hard to deny the uniqueness of modular homes.
When it comes to unique homes we’re on a roll… This month at Decoist we’ve delighted in featuring a range of one-of-a-kind dwellings from to. Today we take a peek into the world of houses on wheels. What makes them so alluring? Their mobility? Their compact size? Their modern design? You decide!
This home was cleverly created by Laird Herbert. We love how the exterior of the house combines metal and FSC tongue and groove cedar. FYI–the interior walls of the home are crafted from birch plywood and drywall.

Not to mention modern decor really pops inside of these dwellings:
The interiors of the units are bright white with gleaming wooden flooring recessed lighting and metal accents. Light and airy each residence has a spacious feel that celebrates modern living at its finest:
